This classroom is an example of some assignments I would use when I am teaching Algebra 2 to students in high school, specifically equations and inequalities. The classroom code is yoq5gah. There is a Pre-Assessment, a YouTube video to help them learn the material, a question, and a quizizz to help them understand the content.
This is what I would send out to the caregiver of each student in my class. This allows me to get to know the student and their parent. There will be a link below to click to go right to the questionnaire to fill it out. Please answer all the questions to the best of your ability. This will help me teach the students and become more familiar with you as a parent. Thank you for taking your time to fill it out! Please click here to fill out the questionnaire.
This is my Google Slides Presentation. This goes over my lesson over Solving Equations and Inequalities in an Algebra. In the presentation, I use a pre-assessment, YouTube video, some examples, and a post-assessment to help teach students. This lesson includes different ways for students to learn the material.
This is an example of a teaching video I would send out to my Algebra students over the lesson of solving equations and inequalities. It is not a full lesson. It is a 5 minute video showing myself teaching online. To access the video, click here.
This assignment is posted on my google classroom and  includes a rubric that I would use for teaching inequalities to my Algebra class. It has the students creating real world word problems using inequalities. Then, they have to solve the word problems to show me that they learned the material. To access the rubric, click here. When you go to the spreadsheet, go to the bottom and click on rubric to see the rubric.
This is my Google Site I created for my students and their parents to be able to access resources easily. In the Site, there is a Home page, Teacher page, Google Classroom page, Forms and Documents page, and Resource page that allows the student and parent to access anything they need easily. Click here to go to the Google Site.
This is an example of an open resource project-based learning activity I would do with my students. It gives them the resources to learn the material and a guideline of the project, but also gives them the freedom to choose what to talk about. To access the Google Doc, click here.
This is an example of a project to teach the kids inequalities as well as Digital Commerce. The project has the students making their own business and figuring what product to make, how to sell it, how to market it, and where to get the materials needed for this project. At the end of the project, they will be pitching their idea to the class, trying to get us to buy the product or invest in it. To access the Google Doc, click here.
