My teaching philosophy is all about making the students welcome comfortable and welcomed in the class. I want my students to be able to expressed themselves in a safe environment. As we are learning the ways of math, we will also be having fun and doing exciting projects to put what we learn into some real world situations. As a teacher, I want my students to be learning the material by doing things hands on instead of listening to me teach for the entire class time.
I believe the purpose of teaching is to teach the students the material as well as prepare them for life after school. Being a teacher, I want my students to be able to know the material but I also want them to be able to have the knowledge to make smart decisions in the real world. As a student, they need to be able to manage their time. In my class, they will have time to do their work in class on certain assignments. They will need to use their time wisely to get the best grade they can.
